Host Bar
Our Host Bar service offers a traditional open bar, with costs covered by the host post-event; no charge to guests. Charges are based on consumption and estimated only as per the contract. For inquiries about specialty cocktails or beer and wine selection, please consult your Event Manager.
King Cole Catering handles the removal of all bar recycling and garbage. The operations team will be scheduled in accordance with the bar’s closing time for removal, transport, and disposal, as outlined in the contract. Consumption estimates are conservatively calculated, approximately 20% higher than average final totals. King Cole Catering coordinates liquor license, bartenders, barware (including basic glassware with back up disposable cups), and linens. If necessary, KCC can also arrange the rental of a bartop; otherwise, the client must provide two tables for the bar.
Selections include Soft Drink (6oz), Spirit (1oz), Beer (335 ml), Craft Beer (473 ml), Local White/Red Wine (bottle), and Specialty Cocktails (2oz). For details on specialty cocktails and the full wine list, please refer to your Event Manager.

Cash Bar
Our Cash Bar charges guests per drink, including basic garnishes and mixes. King Cole Catering separately charges hosts for bartenders, glassware, and rentals such as the bar, back bar tables, and linens. For inquiries about specialty cocktails, beer, and wine, please consult your Event Manager.
King Cole Catering handles the removal of all bar recycling and garbage. Bar sale prices include a service charge of approximately 20%, GST 5%, and alcohol PST 7%.
Payment methods accepted at the bar: cash, credit card, tap debit card, and smart pay devices.

Bring Your Own Alcohol (BYOA)
Our BYOA service allows you to provide all alcohol for your event while we handle the rest. A per-guest service charge of $13 applies, covering King Cole Catering’s management of the bar, including basic bar tools, mixers, and garnishes. We can also provide real plastic cups (resembling glass but unbreakable) and disposable cups for an additional $3.50 per person.
Important: Liquor Permit Requirements
If you choose to bring your own alcohol, it is the host’s responsibility to obtain an Occasional Permit from the Liquor, Gaming, and Cannabis Authority (LGCA) of Manitoba, even if alcohol is provided free of charge. The permit ensures compliance with all LGCA regulations. For more details or to apply for a permit, please visit the LGCA website.
Here are a few key requirements to keep in mind:
• The permit must be posted at the bar during the event, and receipts for all alcohol purchased in Manitoba must be attached to the permit.
• The permit holder must remain sober for the duration of the event and be prepared to speak with LGCA inspectors or law enforcement if needed.

Additional Services
• Bartender Service: $30 per hour, per bartender.
• Glassware and Bar Equipment Rentals: Available upon request.
• Ice: Pricing per bag.
Hosts must ensure that all alcohol is delivered to the bar by their team before the event for proper organization. A fridge or cooler is needed to keep beverages and ice cold throughout the event. After the event, hosts are responsible for clearing the bar and handling recycling. If you’d like King Cole Catering to manage post-event removal and disposal, please coordinate with your Event Manager in advance, as additional charges apply.
